PFC, OIL among 31 stocks to trade ex-dividend tomorrow; last chance to buy

State-owned companies PFC and OIL among a host of other companies are likely to remain in focus today as they are approaching their record date, August 30, for payment of dividend to its eligible shareholders.

This means today is the last day to buy shares of these companies to qualify for the announced dividends.

Earlier this month, PFC announced an interim dividend of Rs 3.25 per share for its eligible shareholders, fixing August 30 as the record date for the purpose.

“We would like to inform you that, the Board of Directors of Power Finance Corporation Ltd. in its meeting held today i.e. 06.08.2024 have inter alia considered and approved the following: Declaration of interim dividend @32.50 % Rs. 3.25/- per equity share on the face value of the paid-up equity shares of U0/- each for the FY 2024-25. Further, it is to inform that 30.08.2024 shall be reckoned as the 'Record Date' for the purpose of ascertaining the eligibility of shareholders for payment of interim Dividend for the FY 2024-25,” said the company in a filing to the exchanges.

In the past 12 months, PFC has declared an equity dividend amounting to Rs 13.50 per share.

At a share price of Rs 539, PFC’s dividend yield is 2.50%.

The shares of PFC closed flat at Rs 539.05 on BSE on Thursday.

The board of OIL had declared a dividend of Rs 2.50 per share.

“Final Dividend. if approved at the AGM" will bc paid/dispatched within the stipulated period of 30 days of its approval to those Members whose names appear on the Company's Register of Members and as per beneficial owners' position received from NSDL- & CDSL as at the close of working hours on Friday, 30th August,2024 [Record Date,” said the company in a filing.

In the past 12 months, Oil India has declared an equity dividend amounting to Rs 12 per share. At the current share price of Rs 726, OIL’s dividend yield is 1.65%. Adjusting for Bonus/Splits the dividend yield is 1.10%, according to the Trendlyne data.

Birla Precision Technologies had announced a final dividend of Rs 0.05 per share.

Bombay Metrics Supply Chain had declared a final dividend of Rs 0.45 per share.

Career Point declared an interim dividend of Re 1 per share.

Dai-Ichi Karkaria had announced a final dividend of Rs 2 per share.

The board of Focus Lighting & Fixtures declared a dividend of Rs 0.5 per share.

Ganesh Housing Corporation board announced a final dividend of Rs 11 per share.

India Tourism Development Corporation had announced a final dividend of Rs 2.52 per share.

Jasch Gauging Technologies declared a final dividend of Rs 2.5 per share.

Jindal Stainless will be paying a final dividend of Rs 2 per share for the eligible shareholders.

JTL Industries will pay a dividend of Rs 0.25 per share to its shareholders.

National Fittings will be paying out a dividend of Rs 15 per share.

The board of Nava had announced an interim dividend of Rs 4 per share.
